And we more recently tried out the Joey, and I’m amazed at how easy it is to set up, how lightweight it is, and how little trunk space it takes up.

There are so many options out there and since some can be a bit pricey, it is definitely an investment.

1. Joey

The Joey is, in my opinion, the best everyday stroller wagon for a family with little ones.

It’s dead easy to open up and fold back down, it’s lightweight, doesn’t take up too much trunk space, and it comes with a snack and drink tray in the middle that’s absolutely essential.
On other models (like the Wonderfold W4), you have to pay more for that center tray, and the Wonderfold version isn’t as sturdy as Joey’s.

It comes with a UPF 50+ canopy, storage basket, key holder, snack tray, a large cup holder, and a one-step foot brake.
The Joey is hands-down my go-to choice for running around town and general, everyday use. It’s so compact that the brand claims it could even fit into the trunk of a Mini Cooper.
I love how I still have trunk space with this stroller wagon – here’s a look at our trunk with the Joey and the Wonderfold W4.

Now don’t get me wrong – we love the Wonderfold! But it’s good for different reasons. In terms of your “daily driver,” I can’t recommend the Joey enough. Even our toddlers can set it up! Watch them do it in this TikTok video:
2. WonderFold Wagon W4 Luxe

As I mentioned, the W4 Luxe from WonderFold is the stroller wagon that I tow my 3 kids around in.
The quality is top-of-the-line and it comes with a ton of convenient features but there is also a long list of accessories that you can buy separately so you can tailor it to your family’s specific needs, which is pretty amazing.
It fits up to four children and has a weight limit of 300 pounds so it can accommodate even the largest families.

The reclining seats, magnetic harnesses, and all-terrain wheels are what sets the Luxe apart from other WonderFold models which is why I ultimately chose the Luxe, but I don’t think you could go wrong with any of the models.
You can check out my full review of the Wonderfold W4 to see why I chose this wagon for my family, and to decide if it is right for you.
3. WonderFold W4 Elite
Get 10% off your purchase at WonderFold Wagon with code Rebekah!
If you want a WonderFold wagon stroller, but don’t want to shell out quite as much for the Luxe, I’d recommend checking out the Elite.

You still get the adjustable handlebars, adjustable canopy rods, zippered side mesh panels, and reclining seats that the Luxe has, so the only thing you’d be missing out on would be the all-terrain wheels, the vegan leather handlebars, and the magnetic harnesses.
4. Veer Cruiser
The Veer Cruiser is perfect for families who love to get out and explore. It looks more like a traditional wagon, rather than a wagon-cart like some others on this list.

One thing that really sets the Veer Cruiser apart from other stroller wagons is how light and compact it is.
Seriously, it’s one of the lightest stroller wagons out there, and it folds up small enough to fit in a small trunk which is not common for a stroller wagon.
I love that it’s compatible with a lot of different infant car seats, so you can use it from day one, and even after your kids are grown you can use the wagon to tote around up to 300lbs of stuff (when there are no kids in it) which means you’ll get your money’s worth.
The canopy has to be purchased separately which is a bit of a bummer since some pretty impressive canopies are included with other brands.
5. Evenflo Pivot Xplore All-Terrain Double Stroller Wagon
The Evenflo stroller wagon can hold up to two children of up to 55 lbs each, so it’s suitable for smaller families.

The rotating storage basket, dual snack tray, and cup holders are very convenient. It has two removable UV canopies that come up from the sides.
It also has a 3-position telescoping handle so it is pretty easy to maneuver.
It’s compatible with a few Evenflo infant seats with an adapter, so just make sure to check if it fits yours if you want to attach your infant seat.
Overall, this is a great choice for parents on a budget who still want a wagon stroller with all the conveniences.
6. Keenz 7S+
The Keenz 7S+ is another great choice for larger families since it can hold up to 4 passengers or a total of 300lbs.

It has plenty of storage, including 2 external pockets, 4 internal pockets, and a snack tray with cup holders. Plus it even has ventilated shoe storage!
That’s one thing I like about Keenz — it comes with the accessories included so you don’t have to spend a bunch more money to buy additional accessories.
The canopy system is also very cool on the Keenz because they have blackout panels that can be pulled down which would be great for naps on the go!
7. Radio Flyer City Luxe Stroll ‘N Wagon
Radio Flyer might just be the most classic wagon brand, and I love the Radio Flyer stroller wagon because of that.
It is also more of a budget option, so it may not be as well made as some of the others on this list, but could be great if you are looking for something basic.

On one side, there is an adjustable push handle, and on the other a pull handle that stows away when you’re not using it.
While the wheels aren’t ideal for off-roading, they would be fine on paved roads.
It also has an option for bench mode seating so you can unzip the sides of the wagon to make a convenient bench seat.
8. Pronto
The Pronto stroller wagon has space for two kids and a weight capacity of 175 lbs. It is compatible with a couple of Nuna infant car seats, but check to make sure it fits yours if you’re planning on using an adapter.

You can fold the wagon with the seats still attached which I really like about the Pronto.
The leather handle, cup holder, and fabric tray add a touch of luxury, while the detachable child tray provides a surface for snacking or activities. You can even remove the fabric for easy washing.
It’s a great option for parents who want a stylish and practical stroller wagon.
9. Baby Trend Expedition Stroller Wagon
This Baby Trend wagon is a budget-friendly option.
It looks like more of a stroller because of the handle, but on the other side, it has a pull handle that tucks away when you’re not using it so you get both functions.

It has a super large cargo space with built-in seating for two and also comes with a snack tray with 2 cup holders and a center console, plus 2 additional cup holders outside of the wagon.
It also has a compact flat fold so it can be easily stored and transported which is a huge plus!
10. Radio Flyer 3-In-1 EZ Fold
Another great budget option from Radio Flyer is the 3-In-1 EZ Fold. This one is a 2 seater and, like other Radio Flyers, can also turn into a bench if you unzip the sides.

It’s easy to fold with one hand so it’s easy to port around which can’t be said for all the stroller wagons on this list.
One thing to keep in mind is that its handle is a traditional pull wagon handle so if the “push-pull” feature is important to you, this might not be the best choice.
All in all, this one doesn’t have as many frills, but if you are looking for a basic stroller wagon to tote your kids around and are on a budget, this could be a good option.
11. Jeep Deluxe Wrangler by Delta Children
Not surprisingly, Jeep (by Delta Children) makes a really good stroller wagon. The price is mid-range, but it’s really well-made and can handle almost any terrain.
It is one of the few stroller wagons I’ve seen with air tires which makes for a really smooth ride.

It is designed to hold up to 110 lbs. One really cool feature that I haven’t seen on any other stroller wagon is the detachable cooler bag it comes with.
It also comes with a parent organizer with multiple storage compartments, a front zipper pocket, a parent cup holder, and large front and back storage pockets, so you’re not likely to run out of storage space with this baby!
All the ruggedness of the Jeep wagon stroller also comes with a stylish design including 2 adjustable leatherette handlebars.
12. Glady Family Anthem2
The Gladly Family Anthem2 is a wagon stroller for 2. It’s easy to maneuver thanks to its sturdy aluminum frame and all-terrain wheels with suspension.

Its handle looks like a traditional wagon handle, but you can push or pull it depending on your preference because it locks into place.
The two canopies will protect your kids from the sun, wind, and rain, but they also have breathable mesh side panels which will also keep them cool.
There’s plenty of storage inside and out, with interior mesh pouches, passenger cup holders, parent cup holders, and a removable storage basket.
And if your little ones need a nap, there’s even a stowaway nap mattress! How cool is that?
13. Larktale Caravan
One thing I love about the Larktale is the canopies. They extend all the way down to the side and meet in the middle at the top.
They are UPF50+ rated and have built-in rain and bug covers so your kids are covered!

It’s another stroller wagon designed to handle all terrains thanks to its all-wheel suspension and all-terrain wheels.
It is meant to be a two-seater, but you can make it a triple or quad with one of their double-seat kits, so it could be great for a growing family.
14. Graco Modes Adventure
Graco may not be the most luxurious option out there, but it is a household name when it comes to baby gear and it’s known for its durability and affordability.
The Modes Adventure is no exception.

It’s compatible with many Graco infant car seats if you buy the adapter separately.
The two large canopies provide tons of shade and have breathable mesh panels to keep your little ones cool.
Plus, the footwell is perfect for those tired little legs to rest up. It has a lightweight aluminum frame that can hold up to two children or a total of 100 lbs.
15. WonderFold Push + Pull Stroller Wagon
Get 10% off your purchase at WonderFold Wagon with code Rebekah!
Last but not least is the WonderFold Push + Pull Stroller Wagon. This one is not as fancy as other models, but that allows you to get the high-quality of WonderFold without the high price tag.

It’s more lightweight than the W4 we own, which could be perfect for you.
It’s also more compact, making it easier to fit in the trunk if you aren’t sporting a large SUV.
It comes with a removable canopy, a vegan leather handlebar, and a pull handle.
It also has those all-terrain wheels that allow you to ride smoothly, even when you aren’t on smooth pavement. I think this one is a steal!
Why Buy a Stroller Wagon?
Stroller wagons can make life so much easier for parents and can be a lot of fun for kids. Here are just a few of the benefits of stroller wagons:
- Room for the whole squad: You can pack up to four kiddos in a stroller wagon! As far as I’m aware, there is no such thing as a quadruple stroller.
- Way more storage: With bags, snacks, toys, and other necessities to bring along, it can be difficult to find enough space for it all. Stroller wagons have more built-in storage options than traditional strollers, so you can pack up your kids and all their stuff!
- Happy campers: I feel like kids get to an age where they really despise sitting in a stroller, but stroller wagons are a game-changer! Kids have more space to move around which they seem to love.

- All the bells and whistles: Stroller wagons are like the Swiss Army knives of the stroller world. Many come with accessories like canopies, sunshades, cupholders, snack trays, and the list goes on. And if they don’t come with it, there are usually a plethora of add-ons that you can buy to customize it to your needs.
What to Look for in a Stroller Wagon
Since there are so many options on the market right now, it can be overwhelming to choose the right one. Here are some essential features to keep an eye out for:
- Size and weight capacity: Make sure to choose one that fits the size of your family.
- Durability and safety features: Look for stroller wagons with sturdy frames, reliable brakes, and comfortable seating options.
- Maneuverability: The handles and wheels are what to look out for here. Check if the handle adjusts and allows for both push and pull, and check if the wheels swivel.

- Storage options: Consider stroller wagons with large storage baskets or pockets for snacks, drinks, and other essentials.
- Accessories: Some stroller wagons come all decked out with accessories, but some make you buy them separately which can get a bit pricey.
With these in mind, let’s jump into the top 15 stroller wagons of 2023.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is a stroller wagon?
A stroller wagon is a hybrid between a stroller and a wagon. It is designed to give a comfortable and safe ride for kids while offering additional storage space for parents. Stroller wagons come in all different sizes, shapes, and designs, and are great for various outdoor activities like picnics, walks, and trips to the beach.
What makes a stroller wagon better than a regular stroller?
The list goes on. Stroller wagons offer larger weight capacities, which means they can accommodate more children or heavier items. They also come with more storage compartments and features like cup holders, which can make outings more convenient. Plus, stroller wagons often have all-terrain wheels that can handle rough terrain better than traditional strollers.
Why are stroller wagons not allowed at Disney?
Wagons, including stroller wagons, are unfortunately not allowed at Disney theme parks to avoid walkway congestion. According to Disney’s official guidelines, only traditional strollers that are no larger than 31 inches wide and 52 inches long are allowed. That said, we’ve never had any issues at other parks, such as Universal Studios.
